Do I Really Need An Online Presence?

Change is inevitable. We have all hear this so many times and in so many forums. We now live in a world where 1 and 2 year olds can now use phones and tablets with no to very little assistance. With technology and the cyber world being introduced to the new and upcoming generations at earlier and earlier ages. With all of the new gadets and apps being created and introduced daily. There is a growing demand for every business, where local or not to have some kind of online presence.

Restaurants are coming onboard with fast pace movement by partnering with companies like Door Dash and Uber Eats. In an effort to not only grow their online presence, but to allow them to deliver almost anywhere in their vacinity. Why then is this even a matter of debate?

There is no type or niche of business right now that can not benefit from a strong online presence. Infact, a company can thrive 10X more than a physical company by being 100% online. So many young kids ages 14 to 17 are creating successful online stores with the click of a button. Even more are making ridiculous amounts of profits by growing the instagram accounts, by filling it with creative, engaging content, and are being paid to be “influencers.” The top earners would be those who created YouTube channels, most of which only used a phone, tablet or cheap camcorder and a few add-ons. Why then are business professionals so intimidated by marketing, more so social media marketing? If a 10 year old can do it, why can’t you?

Simple, there are a few factors as to why:

1. We care too much about what people thing.

We live in a world where image is everything. But is it so important or that crutial that you preserve wha may every well be an imaginery image, that you do not want to put yourself and/or
your brand out there? No one will know who you are if you do nothing to be seen or heard? Even a ghost has to speak or make his presence known, or else he will be invisible. Not saying that
I beleieve in such, but you get the drift.

2. We fear rejection.

Rejection like failure is a part of every process. We hear the stories. Dr. Suess was rejected an unreal number of times. Coco-cola only sold 16 bottles in their first year. This one is a
network marketing favorite, “Go tthrough 100 nos to get to the yes.” Embrace rejection, it builds character and creates results.

3. We become overwhelmed at the idea of learning.

Learning marketing should be fun and easy. After all, isn’t it creating content? Whether ads, blogs, videos, posts… Marketing should be fun!!! And if you plug into the right communities,
groups, coaches, mentors etc. Learning and pacing as relates to your business and goals should be fun!!!

4. We over-complicate the process.

Marketing is simple, if sone right. Again, I will use the example of a little kid on YouTube. He creates a channel. Creates a video. Uploads it to youTube and shares. he doesn’t become
bothered with tags, and analytics and all of this advanced stuff. all he knows is that he has made something that he is proud of and is sure that others would enjoy and/or benfit from.
Let’s learn from the kids people. Create your content. Put it out there. And let it attract whoever needs it or will enjoy it.

5. We act as if it’s something, oh so new.

A sad but debated reality is that we are all marketers in some way, fashion or form. I think as a network marketer, the most amusing thing is the resistance that people have to the industry.
Here’s a tip to take with you throughout 2019, if you use it, believe in it and it works, share it; but get paid to do so. Isn’t it funny how we share other people’s content, but won’t
create our own? We buy a new lipstick, a friend sees it and we tell her where to buy it. You just marketed in your network. You post a picture on FB and Jane sees it, likes it and buys it.
You just makrketed on FB. A company as deals you share it on social media and tell your friends and family. You just marketed. You get the drift??? My point is we market everyday. We are
already on social media all the time, why not get paid to do it? Or promote what you already own?

An online presence for any business is a must. The world it headed head first into a more advanced technological age, not running away from it. Don’t get left behind, or become out-dated. Who knows, we might have flying cars sooner than we think!!!???
